2. GravityPlus™ filtration
Water passes through the cartridge by gravity. See our published test information for tested reductions and limitations.
3. Glass and stainless steel
A borosilicate glass pitcher and stainless steel components, with food-grade silicone seals.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does this filter remove?
Three layers in one Duryn One cartridge. The first layer targets chlorine and heavy metals such as lead. The second layer targets PFAS, PFOS, and microplastics.
The third layer reduces fluoride.
Targeting 200+ contaminants.
See our Lab Results & Certifications page for tested performance, reduction figures and limitations.
How does it compare to Brita or Aarke?
Duryn One combines a borosilicate glass pitcher with stainless steel components and one replaceable cartridge. Compare the exact model, tested performance, materials and replacement costs when choosing a filter.
Is it NSF certified?
Yes. The carbon block in the Duryn One cartridge is certified to NSF/ANSI 42 (chlorine taste and odour) and NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 (lead-free materials), certificate C0876429-01.
Our Lab Results & Certifications page distinguishes certification from laboratory testing and lists the standards referenced for the cartridge and its materials.
How long do filters last?
Replace after 100 US gallons (approximately 379 litres) or 90 days of use, whichever comes first. Higher usage may require an earlier replacement.
Will it work with my water type?
Duryn One currently has one cartridge option for municipally treated tap water.
See our published test information for performance details.
Is it IAPMO tested?
Yes. The carbon block inside the Duryn One cartridge was independently tested by IAPMO using NSF/ANSI 42 and 53 methods: free chlorine 99.99%, PFOS >99.49%, lead >96.42%, arsenic >99.98%. The full reports and our NSF/ANSI 42 & 372 certificate (C0876429-01) are published on the Lab Results & Certifications page. EN 17093 testing with Eurofins is in progress.
