We continue testing the Duryn One cartridge with IAPMO and other labs, including against relevant (European Union) EN 17093 requirements. New results are published here with links to the full reports.

Duryn One cartridge is independently tested to reduce chlorine, helping improve the taste and odour of your tap water. Explore the results below.
The final table entry reports an influent concentration of 2.0 mg/L and an effluent concentration of <0.1 mg/L. Calculated reduction: 99%+.
Recorded rows throughout the test range from approximately 99.4% to 99.99% reduction. The tested sample is carbon filter.

Read the full source reportSeven PFAS compounds are measured individually in the source report. Each percentage below is a conservative minimum calculated from the laboratory reporting limit.
The influent values are PFOA 485, PFOS 985, PFHxS 321.1, PFNA 53.4, PFHpA 40.3, PFBS 268.3 and PFDA 8.21 ppt. Every individual effluent value is reported as <5 ppt.
Minimum calculated reduction = (1 − reporting limit ÷ measured influent) × 100. Displayed minimums are rounded down, not up. No fixed 99.5% reduction is assigned to every PFAS compound.

Lead is 0.140 → <0.005 mg/L, cadmium is 0.028 → <0.002 mg/L and mercury is 0.0053 → <0.001 mg/L. The greater-than percentages are calculated using those reporting limits.
Its tested volume should not be replaced with the cartridge replacement interval.

The results are based on VOC surrogate testing. This testing uses a representative compound to assess removal performance under the tested conditions.
Individual agricultural chemicals, with an editable entry for each future laboratory result.
No reduction result is published for these entries. A future VOC surrogate report may support only the chemicals and claim conditions that it explicitly covers.
Medicines, hormones and other emerging compounds are grouped together for easy reference. Their presence here is not a reduction claim.
No published reduction results are attached to this group. Each row is ready for its own measured result or an explicitly supported group claim.
The source report tests a cyst surrogate. Microplastics, finer particulates, bacteria and viruses require their own evidence.
The reported challenge is 52,400 three-micron microspheres per litre, with an effluent count of <20 per litre. The laboratory records 99.9% reduction and LRV 3.41.
The displayed 99.5%+ is deliberately conservative. This is a microsphere surrogate result, not a live-organism test or a microplastic test at 0.5–1.0 µm.

Duryn One reduces fluoride by >82%. No softening or TDS-removal claim is made here.
“>” means greater than the displayed value. Values based on a laboratory reporting limit are minimum calculated reductions, not exact measurements. “No published result” is not a removal claim or a promise that testing is underway.
The Duryn One cartridge uses solid medical-grade 316L stainless steel end caps instead of plastic. Our choice of materials goes beyond the glass pitcher and stainless steel funnel.
Certification documents and contaminant-reduction tests answer different questions. Here is what each document covers.

The current NSF listing covers the carbon-block component of our water filter cartridge. Tested for helping reduce chlorine-related taste and odour.

The carbon block in the Duryn One cartridge meets NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 certification requirements for lead-free materials.
The NSF certificates cover the carbon block inside the Duryn One pitcher’s cartridge.

All product references on this page use Duryn One cartridge. The published laboratories’ reports retain their original submitted sample names. Product-to-report correspondence must be documented before these source measurements are presented as verified Duryn One performance.
This directory shows both source results and topics awaiting evidence. Only entries labelled “Source result” have a published measurement here. Other entries display “No published result” or “Not claimed”.
Surrogate testing has been completed with positive results. See the attached report for the tested compound, test conditions, and scope of the findings.
Yes. Duryn One reduces fluoride by >82%.
Follow the current product guidance: 100 US gallons (approximately 379 litres) or 90 days of use, whichever comes first. Higher usage may require an earlier replacement. This replacement interval is not a statement that every contaminant has been tested through that volume.
If the filtered concentration is below a laboratory reporting limit, the exact reduction cannot be calculated. We use that limit to show a conservative minimum. For example, a result reported as <5 ppt is not the same as zero.
A laboratory report describes a specific sample under specified conditions. Certification applies to the products, components and claims covered by the certifying body’s official listing. Both the report and the listing should be read for their precise scope.
