What the warranty covers

For two years from delivery, we cover any defect in materials or workmanship under normal home use. Here's exactly what that means.

Covered

Replaced or repaired at no cost to you.

  • Stainless steel components — rusting, corrosion or structural failure of the medical-grade 316L stainless inner vessel and fittings.
  • Leaks caused by a manufacturing defect in the silicone seals or the assembly.
  • Glass housing — structural defects present on arrival, such as cracks, chips or bubbles in the borosilicate glass.
  • Lid and handle — walnut or fittings that split, loosen or fail under normal use and care.
  • Cartridges that arrive damaged or defective — a leaking or non-flowing cartridge out of the box is replaced without asking for the old one back.

Not covered

We'll still help — see "out of warranty" below.

  • Accidental glass breakage. Borosilicate is tough, not unbreakable. Drops, knocks and thermal shock (pouring boiling water into a cold pitcher, for instance) aren't covered.
  • Normal wear and tear. Minor scratches, dents, water marks or changes in the colour of the walnut that don't affect how the pitcher works.
  • Consumables. Filter cartridges are designed to be used up and replaced, so they're not covered once in use.
  • Improper use. Damage from putting the walnut lid or other non-dishwasher-safe parts in the dishwasher, leaving wood to soak, or using the pitcher with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
  • Modifications or non-Duryn parts. Repairs, alterations or third-party cartridges and accessories.

How to make a claim

Three steps, no paperwork. Most claims are settled from photos alone.

1

Tell us what happened

Email hello@duryn.com or use the contact form. Include your order number so we can find your pitcher straight away.

2

Add a photo or short video

Show us the issue — the part, the leak, the box if it arrived damaged. Keep the packaging until it's sorted; the courier sometimes asks to see it.

3

We put it right

We review your claim within 24–48 hours and send a replacement part or a brand-new unit at no cost. We'll tell you if we need the faulty part back — usually we don't.

Keep it in warranty

Four habits that keep a Duryn One looking new — and keep every claim simple.

Cartridge out before washing

Remove the cartridge, then rinse the glass and funnel weekly. Once a month, warm water and a little unscented soap.

Walnut stays dry

Wipe spills, let the lid air-dry and keep it out of the dishwasher. A drop of food-safe oil every few months keeps the grain nourished.

No thermal shock

Borosilicate handles cold water beautifully. Don't pour boiling water into a cold pitcher, or set a hot pitcher on a cold, wet surface.

Treated tap water only

The Duryn One is made for municipally treated water. Don't use it with water that's microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.

Warranty questions

The short answers. For anything else, the Help Centre has the long ones.

I dropped it and the glass broke. Is that covered?

Accidental breakage isn't covered by the warranty, but you're not stuck with a lidless pitcher. Photograph the glass and contact us — replacement parts are available where stock allows, and we'll tell you the current options and pricing.

Are filter cartridges covered?

Only if they arrive damaged or defective. If a new cartridge leaks or barely flows, take it out, rinse it and refit it until it clicks. If it still misbehaves, write to us and we'll send a replacement without asking for the old one back. Cartridges that have been in use are consumables and aren't covered.

Do I need to register my pitcher?

No. Your duryn.com order confirmation is your proof of purchase and the warranty starts on the day of delivery. If you bought through a retailer, keep the receipt.

What if my pitcher arrived damaged?

Send a photo of the damage and the box within 48 hours of delivery and we'll send a replacement at no cost. Keep the packaging until it's resolved.

My pitcher is out of warranty. Can you still help?

Yes. A Duryn One is designed to be repaired, not replaced — the glass, lid, funnel and seals are separate parts. Contact us and we'll tell you what's currently available and what it costs.

Does this affect my legal rights?

No. This limited warranty is offered in addition to the statutory rights you have as a consumer in the EU, UK, US and elsewhere, and nothing here limits them. Your 14-day right of withdrawal and our 30-day money-back guarantee are separate from the warranty.

Something's not right? We'll make it right.

Send your order number and a photo, and someone who knows the pitcher answers — not a bot.
