What does this filter remove?

See our Lab Results & Certifications page for the tested contaminants, reduction figures and limitations for the Duryn One cartridge. Fluoride reduction is not currently claimed.

How does it compare to Brita or Aarke?

Duryn One combines a borosilicate glass pitcher with stainless steel components and one replaceable cartridge. Compare the exact model, tested performance, materials and replacement costs when choosing a filter.

Is it NSF certified?

Our Lab Results & Certifications page distinguishes certification from laboratory testing and lists the standards referenced for the cartridge and its materials.

How long do filters last?

Replace after 100 US gallons (approximately 379 litres) or 90 days of use, whichever comes first. Higher usage may require an earlier replacement.

Will it work with my water type?

Duryn One currently has one cartridge option for municipally treated tap water. There are no separate Alkaline or Softener cartridges in the current range. See our published test information for performance details.
